Ramayana Tour in Sri Lanka is perfectly designed to take you to all the historical places that are mentioned in the Ramayana Epic. On your arrival at the Colombo Airport, we will welcome you and your family members. Then will take you to Negombo town in an A/C vehicle. After some rlaxing, your Ramayana tour will begin from Negomo Town. Once the tour is over, we will bring you back to Negombo Town. Later from there we will take you back to the Colombo airport for your departure. We can arrange vegetarian food that are requested by the Hindus, during your stay here, as we know some visitors see this tour as a pilgrimage devoted to Lord Rama, Goddess Sita Devi and Hanuman. For example in Kandy we can take you to a Vegetarian Brahmin restaurant which is located next to the Sri Selva Vinayagar Temple. Also there is another restaurant which is also popular for vegetarian dishes like dosa, iddly and chappati. All round the tour we will give importance to your food, if you are a vegetarian. Meanwhile non Hindus too can go on this Ramayana tour to explore historical story.
Day 01
We will welcome you at the Colombo airport on your arrival.
Will transfer you to the Kandy hotel. On the way you can visit Pinnawela elephant orphanage to watch young elephants. You can feed them with milk or fruits. Drive by the famous Kandy Lake that was built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit arts and crafts centre, gem museum and lapidary. Walking and seeing through the Kandy market.
Visit sacred tooth relic of the Buddha at the Dalada Maligawa Temple.
Visit Kandy Pillaiyar temple.
Watch cultural performance by traditional Kandiyan dancers and drummers at special venue that are suitable for tourists.

Day 02
From Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, the little England.
Visiting Anjaneyar Temple in Pusselawa. Then Ramboda hills, where the Hanuman searched for Sitadevi, according to Ramayana. Visiting the 16 Feet tall statue of Anjaneyar at Sri Baktha Hanuman temple in Ramboda. Then visit a tea plantationand tea factory. Here you can see how green tea leaves are turned in to aromatic black tea. Sri Lanka's expensive white tea (Silver tip) is produced in this area. (This specially made silver tip is priced at around US$ 600/Kg).
Night stop over in Nuwara Eliya hotel.
Day 03
After the breakfast we travel towards Hakgala Botanical Gardens. On the way we will visit the Sita Amman Temple. Here you can witness the statues of Lord Rama and his wife Sita. The temple outside is recently made with colorful art works. Behind the temple you can see large footsteps on stones and a stream is flowing there with scenic view.
Then we proceed to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens - King Ravana's pleasure garden - which was modified by the British and it contains different varieties of flowers specially orchids. In this garden Hanuman met Sita and showed Rama's ring to her and said that Rama is looking for her.

Day 04
Here we have three places that are linked to Ramayana Epic.
Visit Divurumpola temple, this holy haven was the place where Sita performed her "Agni Pariksha" to prove here cleanliness.
Let us visit to Ella Mountain, where the King Ravana kept hiding Sita. Ravana Ella Cave situated in the giant Ella Rock.
From here we move on to Ravana Ella Falls and nearby pool. This is the pool where Sita had been having her bath during the captivity. King Ravana was living in one of the caves above the waterfall according to local myth.
Night staying in Ella Hotel.
Day 05
Traveling to Colombo city and have a shopping tour. You can purchase branded garments, Local Batik works, porcelain products, handicraft, Ceylon tea, gem stones and many more things.
Munneswaram Shiva Temple, Chilaw.
Later we will proceed to Munneswaram Shiva temple in Chilaw. This is an ancient Hindu temple which is very popular with Indian Hindus.
You can offer special poojas over here.
Manavari Rama Lingam Temple.
Then we will head to Rama Lingam Temple in Manavari located 6 km north of Chilaw, Munneswaram Shivan temple. This is the place Lord Rama eracted a Shiv Linga and named it after him as Rama Lingam and worshiped Lord Shiva to remove his bramhaasthi dosham which came on him for killing the King Ravana who was a Brahmin. Visit Manavari Ramalingam Sivan Temple, this is another place in the Epic of Ramayana.

Day 06
After the Breakfast travel to KIA Airport for Departure.
